MAPMC is managed by a managing committee comprising 27 members. The Chairman is the head of the organization and is assisted in the day-to-day affairs by the Secretary, appointed by the government. The current committee has a significantly progressive outlook and is being chaired by Adv. Diliprao N. Kale. Adv. Kale, during his tenure, has shown remarkable keenness and enthusiasm to improve the prospects of the farming community by providing them with a sound infrastructure as well as a good price for their produce. Dr. Vijay Ramchandra Devtale, the Vice-chairman, is a reputed agriculturist despite being a medical doctor by profession. The committee is also representated by prominent personalities in the field of Agricultural Marketing, including two Members of the Legislative Assembly, namely, Mr. Ramprasad Kadam Bordikar & Mr. Shashikant Jaywantrao Shinde.

The current Secretary, Mr. Sudhir Tungar, is keen on developing MAPMC as an Agricultural Window for India - both for exports and imports. Overall, the Management wants to bring in a paradigm shift in terms of the role of MAPMC. In the current liberalized scenario, when the world is becoming a unified market place, the committee would like MAPMC to play the role of a trade facilitator on a more regular basis and develop it into an organization that represents the interests of its trading members over the world.
