This department maintains personal details
of employees (e.g. employee name, date of joining, date of birth,
qualification etc). The details are recorded in a prescribed format.
A service record of all employees is prepared by this department,
in which, all the details like leaves taken, bonus, increment etc
are mentioned. The respective market offices forward the attendance
details to this department. The offices also maintain records of all
types of leaves taken. Each employee is given a number for identification
in the service record. They forward the service record details to
the accounts department since the accounts department calculates deductions
in salary. They also calculate the gross salaries of employees and
forward this information to EDP department for preparation of pay
slip. |
